Eight crisis scenarios built around the ANTS non-technical skills framework for Stage 1 trainees.
Structured debriefing skills for anyone who teaches or supervises simulation-based learning.
Hands-on virtual reality stations for procedural and communication skills practice.
Half-day scenarios orientating international medical graduates to NHS ways of working.
Our sessions run on high-fidelity manikins, part-task trainers for procedural skills, and immersive VR stations — supported by trained faculty and, where a scenario calls for it, professional actors playing patients or colleagues.
Every scenario ends in a structured debrief. We rate performance formatively, never as a pass/fail test — the goal is safer practice back on the ward, not a score.
Non-technical skills — communication, teamwork, situation awareness — are behind the majority of safety incidents. Simulation is where our staff get to practise them, safely, before it matters on a ward.
